Rethinking energy: our projects for the future
At the Future Energy Lab Wunsiedel, we develop solutions that actively shape the future of energy – grounded in technological expertise, driven by real-world application, and focused on challenges of societal, economic and environmental significance. Our projects focus on key challenges in energy supply: storage of renewable energy, use of hydrogen from renewable energy, low-carbon mobility, and intelligent control through new technologies.
To this end, we set up real-world test environments and utilise local conditions, in which we develop, test and scale new concepts together with partners from research, industry, and the public sector.
