To this end, we conduct research, science and education and bring them together with application, industry, and society.
Our UBT Future Energy Lab Wunsiedel GmbH, or ‘FEL’ for short, was founded in 2023 as a joint venture between the University of Bayreuth and SWW Wunsiedel GmbH. The combination of university expertise and the location of the energy city of Wunsiedel with its well-known energy park offers ideal conditions: we can master many of today’s challenges and actively shape the future of energy.
As a young company, our FEL is currently undergoing a very dynamic development phase. This is reflected in our constantly growing team as well as our new projects and partners.
New tasks require innovative solutions. You are also cordially invited to participate.
